The Ashiga weapons factory was a weapons factory located in the caverns on planet Kijimi.[2] Before 3 ABY,[3] the Ashiga Clan had been making blaster rifles and vibroblades at the factory for generations. In 3 ABY, the leader of the clan, Queen Ashiga, repurposed the factory to produce explosives for the Galactic Empire. Some members of the clan viewed the deal with the Empire as a betrayal of the clan's values.[2]
In 35 ABY, the weapons factory was destroyed along with the planet during the Destruction of Kijimi by the Sith Eternal with the Xyston-class Star Destroyer Derriphan of the Final Order fleet.[1]
