Ashla was one of the two moons of the planet Tython that was located in the Tython system of the Deep Core region of the galaxy,[1] at galactic coordinates L-10.[2] In the second millennium following the settlement of Tython, the non-Force-sensitive Tythans first traveled to Ashla and Bogan—the other moon of Tython—, and subsequently went on to colonize the rest of the worlds in the star system.[3] By the year 25,793 BBY,[4] the moon was used as a place of contemplation for those Je'daii who had walked too far in the light, where they would meditate on the darkness of Bogan.[1]
