Assassins were individuals, sometimes professionally trained or experienced, who killed influential individuals for personal cause or in service of an organization.[2] Often times, assassins also worked as bounty hunters, being hired by employers who would pay a substantial reward for the death of a certain target or targets.[3] Sith assassins were assassins who served the Sith Order. Clone assassins were specialized clone troopers[4] in service to the Galactic Empire who were programmed to serve as an assassins.[5]
Some assassins included Jango Fett,[3] Cad Bane,[6] Zam Wesell,[3] Aurra Sing,[7] Darth Maul,[8] Savage Opress,[9] Rukh,[10] Deathstick,[11] Ochi, [12] and Fennec Shand.[13]
