Atari is a company founded in 1972 as Atari, Inc.. In 1982, Atari Inc. was split in Atari Corporation and Atari Games. It again changed, becoming Atari Interactive (a division of Hasbro Interactive) in 1998. Atari produced several arcade games for the Star Wars universe, including Star Wars: The Arcade Game (1983), Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1984) and The Empire Strikes Back (1985). Star Wars: Death Star Battle, Star Wars: Jedi Arena, Star Wars: The Arcade Game and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back were also published by Parker Brothers for Atari's home consoles.
