An attack was carried out by the mauraders known as the Nihil against civilians in the Echerta system[1] in 230 BBY.[2] The Echerta system served as a hub for hyperspace lanes causing dozens of ships to have emerged there and thus be attacked by the Nihil. Among these ships attacked was the Vessel, which had been hoping to change direction in the system. Jedi Wayseeker Orla Jareni was a passenger on the Vessel that suggested that they flood the frequencies of the Nihil ships, as the Vessel would not have been screened out due to its small size. The captain of the Vessel Leox Gyasi, followed Jareni's plan and flooded the Nihil communications with the popular song the 'margengai glide' with the help of his co-pilot Affie Hollow. This successfully disorganized the Nihil enough to allow the civilians and themselves to escape.[1]
