During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, an Imperial fleet attacked the Republic's Ardis Outpost in the Unknown Regions. Despite the surprise ambush, Republic reinforcements were able to drive off the Imperial forces and save the station.[3]
