- «Boba. I thought you were dead.»
- ―A surprised Bib Fortuna upon seeing Boba Fett
An attack on the palace[1] that had once been owned by crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure[5] occurred in 9 ABY[3] when Boba Fett and Fennec Shand stormed the old palace which was under the rule of[1] its new crime lord,[6] Jabba's former majordomo Bib Fortuna. During the attack, Shand first stormed in, shooting every person inside the palace except for Fortuna and his Twi'lek slave, which she freed. As Fortuna watched in horror, Fett walked in calmly and killed him, sitting on the throne with Shand by his side.[1]

The Attack on Jabba's palace first appeared in "Chapter 16: The Rescue" of Jon Favreau's 2019 Disney+ television series The Mandalorian, directed by Peyton Reed[1] and released on December 18, 2020.[7]

As this corresponds to 9 ABY per Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, the Attack on Jabba's Palace must've occurred in that year.
