In 21 BBY, pirate forces attacked Alderaanian Senator Bail Prestor Organa while he was en route to the Galactic Republic's capital world, Coruscant. The attack was nearly successful, but the pirates were intercepted by Jedi Masters Plo Koon and Adi Gallia and a contingent of clone pilots of the Grand Army of the Republic. The pirate forces were destroyed and Senator Organa survived to be escorted to Coruscant.
