An attack was made on the home of one of the board members of the Sienar Fleet Systems starship design company by rebel terrorists during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The rebels were searching for schematics for prototypes of the TIE Series of vessels which Sienar designed for the Empire, hoping that they could identify weaknesses in the future products. During the attack, the MI-series security droid, MI-726, who had been assigned to the board member to defend his home, went rogue and abandoned its master and his house, fleeing the scene.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The attack was created as part of "Bounties to Die For," an article in the sixth issue of Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Gamer magazine series,[1] which was published September 4, 2001.[2] The magazines were supplements for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, and the attack was included as part of an entry on MI-726 written by S. Mitch Ritchie. The article only states that the bounties are posted by the Empire but does not give a specific era in which they are set.[1]
