During the Coyerti campaign, two squads, led by First Sergeant Hazram Namir and Sergeant Zab, launched an attack on an Imperial scout post on Coyerti. They managed to overrun the defending Imperial forces and take the camp before retreating to avoid incoming TIE/sa bombers.

PreludeEdit

The Alliance to Restore the Republic's Sixty-First Mobile Infantry launched a campaign on Coyerti in 3 ABY. The campaign had multiple objectives: the first was to protect the Coyerti species during their breeding season; the second was to affect the Galactic Empire's bio-weapon production on Coyerti; and the third was to create an additional distraction to assist the Alliance Fleet's retreat from the Mid Rim.[1]

The battleEdit

Two squads, one led by First Sergeant Hazram Namir and the other one led by Sergeant Zab, were deployed to take out an Imperial scout post. The two teams attacked from opposite sides and the Besalisk Gadren, from Namir's squad, charged through with his blaster cannon. An Imperial grenadier almost killed the Besalisk but, luckily for him, the grenade did not detonate. Namir led Roach to cover the others and two of Zab's men supported Gadren at the center of the camp to keep the Imperials from grouping up. After ten minutes, the camp was taken. Namir had to convince Zab and his squad to not steal the speeder bikes, fearing they may be tracked, and the squads marched back into the jungle before TIE bombers could arrive and wipe them out.[1]
