Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY^[2] the Orphans attacked a Black Sun smash-processing lab on Dantooine, during the Syndicate War. The lab was developing a formula to make the drug smash more potent to more species. The Orphans were hired by Crimson Dawn leader, Lady Qi'ra, to destroy the base. The group successfully destroyed the lab without the Black Sun learning who was responsible causing the criminal syndicate to believe another syndicate was responsible. News of the attack on the facility made its way onto the Shadowfeeds, including footage of the facility burning with the Aurebesh text "Black Sun is in eclipse" displayed over it.^[1]
