The attack on the Pirik system was an Imperial attack during the Galactic Civil War.
The Rebel presence on Pirik's capital Corint City was important in times of the Empire: Shroud Team coordinated Rebel activity on the Divis Arm from there.[6] Sometime before 2 ABY, the Galactic Empire began an invasion on the Pirik system.[1] During the attack, Lieutenant Ma'w'shiye almost lost a leg in jumping through the glass window of Strak Tower's 37th floor to escape the Empire.[5] After the battle, Rebel Major Norrion Glidamir was decorated for her part, and lieutenant Ma'w'shiye became a living legend for Alliance gunners.[1]
