Augmented vibro-motors were an attachment used to modify vibro weapons. Modifying vibro weapons with vibro-motors could make the weapon more powerful, capable of cutting through armored plating with ease. However, this augmentation also resulted in the weapon being more difficult to handle. Vibro-motors cost 500 credits.[1]

Vibro-motors that were installed alongside a gene-lock—which kept weapons from activating without their owner's use by reading DNA—would be disabled. They could also be utilized in tandem with an "Accu-Strike" integrated targeting computer in order to improve a user's accuracy. Usage of vibro-motors with the targeting computers involved installing them into the gauntlets or gloves of the user, then connecting them to the helmet system of the armor.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Augmented vibro-motors were introduced in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1]
