The Aurora was a specialized refueling tanker utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems' naval forces during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. It possessed a series of oval-shaped fuel storage tanks, which were separated from each other by several hangar bays. From these bays, Separatist star frigates were able to dock with the tanker and gain fuel.[1]
At some point during the war, the Aurora became targeted in a mock attack by a squadron of Republic Venator-class Star Destroyers in an attempt to draw out the battleship known as the Starcrusher. However, before the Republic could force the Starcrusher into battle, the Aurora was able to flee from the star system and the Star Destroyers.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
