- "Axkva Min was a Nightsister Elder who discovered the art of draining the life force of her enemies to enhance her own power. She became a threat to her own people and was struck down by Gethzerion herself when the full scope of her atrocities was brought to light. Axkva Min was then banished along with her most loyal followers."
- ―Rohak, to a spacer
Axkva Min was a Nightsister who was situated in the Nightsister Stronghold on the planet Dathomir during the Galactic Civil War, and used a specialized energy lance as her main weapon.
Biography[]
- "So, you have come here to free me?"
- ―Axkva Min, to a spacer
She was imprisoned in the Chamber of Banishment near the Stronghold because of her practice of draining the life from her pupils in order to increase her own power. She possessed a fragment of the Codex of Tython, an ancient Jedi Holocron. An Alliance to Restore the Republic agent seeking to reassemble the holocron came looking for Min, using the Key of Exile provided by Sarguillo, to access the Chamber. There, he found several Nightsisters guarding a large crystal which contained the essence of Axkva Min trapped within. The Codex, possessed by the Rebel, then launched a bolt of energy to the crystal, destroying it and freeing Axkva Min. She attacked the intruder, but was defeated and offered him to take her life, seeing it as a preferable fate to eternal imprisonment. The Rebel, however, was only looking for a crystal on a chain around the witch's neck. When this fragment installed back into the Code, another arc of energy jumped from the Codex to the banishment crystal. The figure of Axkva Min was transported inside again, and the scattered pieces of the crystal reformed themselves with her essence inside. Once again, the Queen of the Nightsisters was trapped within.[4]
Later she was killed by a group of spacers as she attempted to escape.
A portrait of the former Nightsister Queen managed to survive her death.

Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE) — Heroic Instance: "Axkva Min"
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
