- "I don't like this place. It gives me the creeps!"
- ―Captain Rex as he enters the monastery
The B'omarr Monastery was a structure on Teth that bore similar design to Jabba's Palace on Tatooine.
Characteristics[]
The monastery stood atop a large mesa in the Teth jungle. The castle consisted of lower levels where the prisoners were kept, a throne room, a monster pit underneath the throne room that contained a jungle rancor, and a back door landing pad.
History[]
The monastery on Teth was originally a dwelling of the B'omarr Monks,[1] and at some point in its history was inhabited by the Hutts and their smugglers.[2]
During the Clone Wars, the monastery served as a hideout for the Confederate-aligned captors of Rotta the Huttlet. A Republic task force led by Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano landed on the world in an attempt to rescue the Huttlet, initiating the Battle of Teth. Skywalker's forces battled against Asajj Ventress and a Separatist army, successfully extracting Rotta from captivity.[1]
