Approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor,[1] a rolling droid was in the desert on a planet. The droid had a domed head, similar to that of R2 units, with the bulk of its body made up of a ball that the droid rolled on. The droid was mostly white, with some blues and oranges on its body, as well as a black eye-piece.[2]
Behind the scenes
This droid was first revealed in the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens on November 28, 2014.[2]
