- "Unfortunately, Graf also tends to act prematurely. The clearest example of this occurred on Baes Logia."
- ―Personal addendum by General Airen Cracken to an entry of a datafile detailing Rebel Alliance operatives dedicated to Graf Yonna
Baes Logia was a terrestrial celestial body[3] situated in the Baes Logia system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Quence sector.[1] At one point during the Galactic Civil War, the Carosite Rebel Alliance medic Tamo Lan served in a short campaign on Baes Logia.[4] During that same conflict, a trio of Rebel operatives once attempted to lure a general of the Galactic Empire into a trap. The operatives acted as if they had been nearly overcome by Imperial forces; however, as the general was approaching them, Graf Yonna—a mentally unstable Alliance operative who had partially assumed the personality of the ancient adventurer and hero Parsol d'Ahndole—also appeared. Yonna then opened weapons fire, killing the general. Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Alliance General Airen Cracken noted the incident on Baes Logia in an entry dedicated to Yonna that was part of a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Baes Logia was created by Chuck Truett and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Baes Logia system, and therefore the celestial body, in grid square O-18.[2]
