"The Balmorran Arms Factory is the Empire's biggest stronghold."

The Balmorran Arms Factory was a weapons manufacturing plant owned by Balmorran Arms until the Sith Empire invaded the planet Balmorra during the Great Galactic War. However, unlike the rest of the planet, the factory did not fall to the Empire and became a fortress for the Balmorran resistance. It also acted as a base for which republic troops could land in order to aid the resistance. In 3643 BBY a new governor of Balmorra, Darth Lachris hired an Imperial spacer to infiltrate the factory defeat Grand Marshal Cheketta and claim the factory for the empire.
