- "You let that thing onto my ship, didn't you? My mistake. I should have known not to employ a Balosar. Your kind is too easy to bribe."
- ―Ochi regarding Stiper, a Balosar
Balosars were a near-human sentient species which possessed two antennapalps on the tops of their heads,[3] but were otherwise similar in appearance to humans.[1] They were native to the ruined world Balosar.[4] Shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars,[1] the Balosar Elan Sleazebaggano[6] attempted to sell the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi death sticks in the Outlander Club on the planet Coruscant, but the Jedi mind tricked the dealer into going home and rethinking his life. At around this time a male Balosar also served in the Jedi Order.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire on the planet Lothal, the street urchin Ezra Bridger spotted a Balosar woman wearing a shimmersilk scarf around her antennapalps, which he valued at least one thousand credits.[3]
