Barada M'Beg was the legendary Klatooinian leader who signed the Treaty of Vontor for Klatooine and its people, some time around 25,100 BBY. Though the Klatooinians took part in the wars against Xim the Despot and eventually played a key role in defeating him, the species remained forever in the service of the Hutts. Many male Klatooinians continued to be named either Barada or M'Beg in honor of their ancient leader.[1]
