Baradium bombs also known as baradium charges were a type of explosive that utilized the compound baradium. Baradium bombs could be magnetically attached to surfaces.[1] In 10 BBY,[3] Val employed handmade baradium bombs during a coaxium heist on Vandor. For the heist, Val keyed the bomb's detonator to her biological signature.[1]
In 3 ABY,[4] Kay Vess was hired by the Hutt Cartel to infiltrate the Pyke Syndicate's poaching station on Toshara, steal their client list and plant a baradium bomb on the station's generator, there by releasing the caged robumas.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Baradium bombs first appearead though unidentified in the canon continuity in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[5] They were not identified in tie-in baradium bomb entry on the StarWars.com databank encyclopedia.[1]
Baradium bombs were originally introduced as part of the Star Wars Legends continuity in 2003 Shatterpoint novel by Matthew Stover.[6]
