Baradium charges were explosives that made use of the radioactive chemical baradium. The charges cost 750 credits per unit. Though their blast radius was rather small, the radiation produced by the charges could affect entire planets.[1] During the Clone Wars,[2] Bounty hunter Boba Fett made an attempt on Jedi Master Mace Windu's life utilizing a shaped baradium charge concealed within his father's helmet.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
A baradium charge first appeared in R2 Come Home,[2] the twenty-first episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' second season, which originally aired on April 30, 2010,[4] though was only later identified as such by Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious,[3] released October 23, 2018.[5]
