Baroli was the homeworld[2] of the Barolian[1] pilots Jano Brayson and Teff.[2] In 231 BBY,[3] when the two reunited on the Starlight Beacon space station after becoming Z-29 Skyhawk pilots in the Galactic Republic's Firebird Squadron, Teff commented that they were a long way from Baroli, which Brayson agreed with.[2]

Baroli was first canonically mentioned in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Baroli was first mentioned in the 1992 West End Games Heir to the Empire Sourcebook, written by Bill Slavicsek.[4]
