Baros was an astronomical object located in the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It was positioned in grid square U-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Baros was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Baros was introduced in Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, a 1989 roleplaying supplement authored by Troy Denning and published for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.[3] It later made its first appearance in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a 2011 BioWare video game.[4]
