Bastila Shan's motif is a music piece written by Jeremy Soule for the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The piece, which includes "The Force Theme," is used in musical score as the leitmotif of Bastila Shan.
The piece is also played in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught. If the Commander is romanced with Theron Shan, a descendant of Bastila Shan, the music plays when Theron's mother, Satele, discuss with the Commander about the latter's relationship with Theron.
Outside of the Star Wars franchise, this piece has been repurposed as neutral music in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the music of which was composed by Jeremy Soule.
