The Batravia system lay in the Serathrace sector,[1] a part of the Slice portion of the Expansion Region.[2] It was the origin point of Batravian gumpluckers.[3][4]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Batravia system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square P-11.[2]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Batravian gumpluckers in relation to the Batravia system.
