The Battle at Gravity's Heart,[3] also known as a mission in the Berenge Sector,[4] occurred at the space station Gravity's Heart, located in the barren Berenge sector, during the Nihil conflict of the High Republic Era. The station contained a gravity well projector developed by the renegade scientist Chancey Yarrow, and the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order hoped to destroy it and rescue three abductees, Jedi Padawans Reath Silas and Imri Cantaros, and Chancey's daughter Sylvestri, who had been unaware of her mother's plotting with the Nihil. During the battle, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh encountered the dying hyperspace prospector Mari San Tekka, who gave her one final route to a location on the edge of the galaxy before dying.[1]
