Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, a battle took place in the Dalchon system between the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Relentless and three pirate vessels.
Battle[]
While patrolling the Dalchon system, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Relentless encountered three pirate vessels. In the ensuing battle, the Imperial vessel was victorious, capturing several pirates including their leader, Quist. However, the Relentless suffered severe damage to its hyperdrive engines.[3]
Interrogating Quist, the pirate revealed information that Adar Tallon, long thought dead, was in fact alive and in hiding. With the information about Tallon's survival, Captain Ranif Parlan issued Imperial Bounty #82,471 for his capture. This bounty led to Tatooine being flooded by bounty hunters to hunt for him.[3]
