- "This wreckage is from a battle between the Separatists and Republic during the Clone Wars—"
- ―Beilert Valance
In between 22 and 19 BBY,[2] a battle took place within the Ruusan system during the Clone Wars between forces of the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the battle, Republic forces of at least a single Venator-class Star Destroyer, Acclamator-class assault ship and at least two Low Altitude Assault Transport gunships engaged the Confederacy's Lucrehulk-class Battleship within the star system. As a result, wreckage was sustained from the battle.[1]
Years after its end, during the Imperial Era, the wreckage from the battle was still present within the Ruusan system.[1] Around 3 ABY,[3] the Nautolan bounty hunter, Nakano Lash, utilized the wreckage to conceal herself while aboard a 720 light freighter, before she was discovered by fellow bounty hunters, Beilert Valance and T'onga.[1]
