The Battle of Cularin was a battle associated with Cularin,[2] an astronomical object in the Expansion Region,[3] that occurred sometime between 22 BBY and 19 BBY.[1] The Maelstrom-class battle cruiser Maelstrom of the Galactic Republic's navy served with distinction in the battle, under the leadership of its commanding officer, Jedi General Darrus Jeht of the Jedi Order.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

In the current Star Wars canon, the Battle of Cularin was introduced in the Star Wars Roleplaying sourcebook Lead by Example, which was written by John Dunn and published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016 for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game system.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Battle of Cularin appeared in "Living Force: Last Stand," the final short story written by August Hahn and Cynthia Hahn as a supplement to Living Force, a roleplaying campaign created by Wizards of the Coast. The story was published on Wizards.com on February 1, 2007.[4]
