The Battle of Mandalore[5] was fought in Sundari, the capital of the planet Mandalore, during the Clone Wars. The battle marked the beginning of a civil war between the Mandalorians who secretly followed the renegade Sith Lord Maul, and those who followed Lady Bo-Katan Kryze, sister of the murdered Duchess Satine.
Although the battle was mainly between those two factions of Mandalorians, the Mandalorian super commandos and the Mandalore resistance, Maul's former Sith Master, Darth Sidious, also arrived, killed Savage Opress, and captured Maul. The battle started when Obi-Wan went to save Satine.
