Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

At some point during the lockdown of the Anoat sector by the Galactic Empire, a battle was fought on the former Hutt jewel world of Mataou between the Empire and the resistance faction called the Uprising. The Imperials, having realized that the resistance had established a strong presence in the Hutt ruins of Mataou, sought to wipe them out.[1]

Behind the scenes

This battle is a "Sector Battle,"[1] a game-wide event that earns the players powerful rewards and dictates the expansion of in-game content. The canonical outcome of a Sector Battle is not known, since it is determined by the players' involvement.[2] However, the motives of the battle were addressed in the in-game description.[1]
