"Ndigo, welcome aboard. I heard about your bravery on Rirsack. Your tactics were brilliant."
―Han Solo to Lars Ndigo[src]

A battle between the New Republic and an enemy force took place on the planet Rirsack during or before 13 ABY. Due to the bravery[1] and brilliant tactics[2] of Lieutenant Lar Ndigo, the New Republic emerged victorious. Ndigo's actions led to his promotion to the rank of captain and his subsequent appointment to Republic operations on the planets Nam Chorios[1] and Pallaxides under General Han Solo.[2]

Behind the scenes

Lar Ndigo's actions on Rirsack are mentioned in passing in the first and fourth issues of the Mike Richardson-penned comic series Star Wars: Crimson Empire III—Empire Lost, released in October 2011 and February 2012, respectively. No details of the battle are given besides the successes of Lar Ndigo. Rirsack is misspelled as "Rorsack" in the fourth issue; The Essential Atlas Online Companion confirms the original spelling as the accurate one.
