During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the First Son, leader of the Children of the Emperor, ordered the Empire to attack the planet Sarkhai in a bid to distract the Barsen'thor. However, a fleet under the command of Padawan Nadia Grell was able to drive back the attackers.

In the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Jedi Consular's companion Nadia Grell was originally supposed to leave after the mission "Old Blood" in order to save her homeworld, which the First Son had attacked with an Imperial fleet. While her departure was cut from the game, the attack is still mentioned in the mission logs.
