The Battle of Scyva was fought in Wild Space by the Eternal Empire[2] of the planet Zakuul[3] some decades before 3630 BBY.[1] The Knights of Zakuul, the Empire's order of Force-sensitive warriors, participated in the battle, which shared its name with the Zakuulan god Scyva. Two Knights—the mother and father of a young boy named Indo Zal—were killed in the battle, leaving Indo to be raised by his sister Kalya.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Battle of Scyva was mentioned in the Codex entry for Indo Zal in Knights of the Eternal Throne,[2] the 2016 Digital Expansion to the 2011 BioWare video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]

Forums: Dear Story Team, What Year Are We Currently In? on The Old Republic's official website (backup link), the events of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne and Game Updates released in 2016 can be placed in 3630 BBY. The Codex entry for Indo Zal, who is a grown adult during the events of Knights of the Eternal Throne, states that the Battle of Scyva occurred when Zal was six years old, and Zal is middle-aged during the events of Eternal Throne; thus, the battle must occur decades before the events of Eternal Throne in 3630 BBY.
