The Battle of Turkana was a battle that was fought over the Outer Rim planet of Turkana when a squadron of the Galactic Empire ambushed a task force of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The resulting battle witnessed the first confrontations between the Imperial TIE/IN interceptor and the Rebel T-65B X-wing starfighters, and ultimately led to a victory for the Rebel Alliance.
