A battle occurred in the Raioballo sector during the Jedi Civil War between the Unidentified Republic fleet and the Sith Empire. The Sith Empire wiped out the Republic fleet and news of the battle traveled at least as far as Dantooine.

Behind the scenes[]

The battle of the Raioballo sector was first mentioned in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by a female NPC settler of Dantooine after the player has constructed a lightsaber and exited the Jedi Enclave.
