Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

"'Liberators' crushed [sic] Imperial Navy restores order on Mantooine"
―A statement on the Imperial victory on Mantooine[1]

In 5 BBY, during the armed rebellion in the Atrivis sector, the Liberators managed to seize the Imperial garrison on Mantooine. Shortly afterwards however, the Imperial Navy counterattacked, defeating the Liberators.[1] During the battle, the Rebels used U-wings as troop transports.[1]
