- "Who said you were useless, Beaumont?"
"Just mom and dad." - ―Daz Crano to Beaumont Kin
A male individual was the father of[1] the human historian and Resistance member[2] Beaumont Kin.[1] During the First Order's blockade of the planet Kashyyyk,[1] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[3] Kin claimed to the Nautolan Resistance pilot Daz Crano that his mother and father told him he was useless, which was why he refused to follow his promising future[1] as an educator[4] and instead joined the Resistance in its war against the First Order.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Beaumont Kin's father was mentioned in the comic story "Ghosts of Kashyyyk, Part 1," published in the twenty-seventh issue of the 2017 anthology comic series Star Wars Adventures. The comic was written by John Barber and published by IDW Publishing[1] on October 30, 2019.[5]
