Benjamin Caron is a director who helmed the seventh, eleventh, and twelfth episodes of Andor Season 1.[1] According to[2] executive producer and writer[3] Tony Gilroy, each director had three to four months to prepare and 55 days to shoot.[2] Denise Gough, the actress who played Dedra Meero said that Caron set up her character. For the scene in which Meero tortures Bix Caleen, Caron instructed Gough to not do any swish and to try the scene with her hands behind her back. Gough told Caron that she was unable to say she needed to say she needed a Multi-Sector Data Blend going back two years.[4] Gilroy wanted to bring Caron back for Season 2, but he did not want to come back due to working on the film Sharper.[5]
