Young Ewoks collecting berries
A berry was any sort of a small, roundish and juicy fruit.
The Ewoks, a species of diminutive sentients from Endor, relied heavily on berries[1]—which they called sleech in their language[2]—as a means of subsistence. Their diet included grava berries,[1] cambylictus berries,[3] and the multicolored rainbow berries.[4] Other berries included the aleudrupe berry of Varonat,[5] the clait-berry of Tazan,[6] the cloudberry of Bakura[7] and the Juna berry of Gala.[8]
