"Binary Cantata" was a song by the band Red Shift Limit. It was featured on the compilation album Dangerous Dreams, which was available in the galaxy by the time period[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[2] The song was banned by the Imperial Board of Culture, due to Red Shift Limit being openly anti-Imperial.[1]

Behind the scenes

"Binary Cantata" was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann and published in 1993.[1]
