The Biravia system was a star system located within the Venaarian sector, a part of the Mid Rim[1] and the Trans-Hydian regions.[2] The system was the origin point of the group known as Biravians.[3][4]

Behind the scenes[]

The Biravia system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square O-7.[2]

(backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Biravians in relation to the Biravia system.
