- "What're those big birds flying fast toward us?"
- ―Han Solo
A flightless Sith warbird
There were many kinds of birds or avians across the galaxy. Bird was also a slang name for a starship. Typically birds could fly; however, there were some flightless species.
Sentient avian species included the Calibops, the Devlikks and the Hiitians.
