Black tea was a type of tea that could be served hot. On the Outer Rim planet Batuu, the mother and father of farmer Julen Rakab drank black tea during his childhood, on days with pleasant weather.[1] By 34 ABY,[2] after both his parents had died, Rakab remembered the ritual fondly.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Black tea was first mentioned in A Crash of Fate, a 2019 young-adult novel written by Zoraida Córdova.[1]
