A blaster cannon was a limited-range, heavy artillery weapon that utilized high-energy blaster gas to produce a visible beam of intense energy. Although capable of causing great damage to structures and organic tissue alike, they were still less powerful than laser cannons. While blaster cannons were commonly fitted to starships[1] or ground vehicles like the Flash speeder,[2] there also existed handheld models like the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon.[3]
