"The droids have begun a firebombing campaign. Several villages in our sector have been destroyed, sir."
Clone Commander CT-411, to Jedi Master Mace Windu[src]

Blazer bombs were devastating[2] incendiary explosives used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during their occupation of the planet Ryloth, where, deployed via Hyena-class Droid Bombers, they were used to firebomb the villages of the native Twi'leks.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Blazer bombs first appeared in "Liberty on Ryloth," the twenty-first epsiode of the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' first season,[1] which originally aired on March 13, 2009.[3] They were first identified in the hyena bomber's entry in StarWars.com's now-discontinued Encyclopedia.[2]
