The Blood Moon Uprising was a conflict which occurred by the High Republic Era. A phrik staff from the uprising found its way into the Jedi Archives and was among many artifacts displayed in the Starlight Pavilion during the Valo Republic Fair[1] held around 231 BBY[2] as part of the Secrets of the Jedi exhibit curated by Jedi archivist OrbaLin.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Blood Moon Uprising was mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1] The 2022 Imperial Era-set short story "Blood Moon Uprising" by Vera Strange, published in the anthology Stories of Jedi and Sith, references the uprising in its title, but is otherwise unrelated.[3]
