Blue Five was the callsign of the fifth member of the starfighter squadron Blue Squadron.
History[]
Clone Wars[]
During the Clone Wars, clone trooper pilot "Tucker" flew as Blue Five during the Battle of Ryloth. Serving in Blue Squadron and under command of Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, Tucker flew his V-19 Torrent starfighter against the Separatist blockade until he was killed by vulture droids.[1]
Galactic Civil War[]
Farns Monsbee flew as Blue Five on a mission to Eadu and soon after at the Battle of Scarif.[5] Ten Numb flew a Rebel B-wing as Blue Five during the Battle of Endor.[2]
During the Battle of Jakku, a member of the New Republic's 77 Squadron (which flew as Blue Squadron in that battle) flew under the callsign.[3]
First Order-Resistance War[]
A pilot used the callsign Blue Five while escorting an Intersystem Transport Ship leaving Batuu carrying new recruits for the Resistance, alongside Poe Dameron and another pilot "Red Two." The transport was attacked by First Order TIE fighters and "Blue Five" died when her fighter was destroyed.[4]
